FLOOR MANAGER

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities:

Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies. Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products

 

Responsible for supervising the general operations of production. Floor manager tasks include employee management and scheduling, distributing tasks to the staff, and monitoring the employees' performance.

Plans, schedules, and manages one or more manufacturing production processes. Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials.

Maintain and organize documents and records, communicate with superiors regularly via daily email with a run down of days events. Available on call in case of emergency.

 

PRODUCTION OPERATOR

  • Make the best quality food by learning, using and maintaining the highest food safety standards possible.

  • Follow standard operating procedures to operate various pieces of processing and packaging equipment

  • Work with a safety-first mindset to keep yourself and others safe.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with machinery and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues

  • Calibrate processing and packaging systems daily to meet required specifications

  • Participate in start-up, change over and shut down of operating equipment

  • Perform sanitation procedures in order to conduct periodic facility sanitation requirements

  • Be responsible for executing all required quality processes and documentation

  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives in order to increase platform performance

  • Assists in training new employees

  • Attend meetings and trainings as required

  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned

  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), sanitation procedures and general housekeeping as well as all safety practices and procedures.

SMOKEHOUSE OPERATOR

The primary purpose of the Smokehouse Operator is to operate and monitor all smokehouse processes. The role of the Smokehouse Operator is to ensure the product is cooked in a safe and efficient manner to the highest possible quality.
